Why Trust? Because it allows you to believe and have faith in yourself and others
What is trust? According to the dictionary ‘Trust is the reliance on the integrity or justice of a person or on some quality or attribute of a thing’.
To believe or expect what is true to you
Rely on, have confidence in
Unique quality governed by past experiences and present opportunities
Special attribute or quality in people and things
To permit or commit without fear of consequence
How do we learn to trust? We invest with trust when we believe that we can do something or share with someone without fear of consequence. We gain trust in our own abilities and others from experience. We also lose the ability to trust from experiences, especially in our early childhood.
How do we get trust back? We firstly have to trust ourselves again. Little by little we trust or believe that we can do that, rely on that thing or that person and like everything in our life, we build our confidence to reconnect with the trust we lost through some experience or event.
