As I am researching my next book ‘Age is an Attitude’ I have come across two wonderful Doctors studying other people over 100 who are well. One of the keys to being well of course is not just what we eat, but what gets absorbed. With that information they discovered the genetic code that you may have inherited. Even though they now believe that our inheritance is only 20% and what you expose yourself to is 80%, the 20% you inherited could hold a key to your health.
Recently I was told I held the genetic code that may find digesting vitamin B a challenge. That makes total sense to me because I was always questioned by my iridologist about my B3 levels, then when I got Lupus I was given Vitamin B 12 shots, and more recently my naturopath noticed a B12 problem in the structure of my cell composition. So with an ‘Active B’ vitamin or Vitamin B 12 spray, I can compliment my healthy regime so I absorb more vitamin B.
People with low vitamin B may have auto immune diseases, be stressed or in fact have dementia. Dementia is often present up to 30 years before it is officially diagnosed. As both my parents had or have dementia and I have had an auto immune disease, it all makes perfect sense to pay attention to the vitamin B levels from now on.
Other symptoms that a deficiency in Vitamin B12 may create may include anxiety, depression, tingly feet and the list goes on!!!
